The military exchange is a retail network operated by the U.S. Department of Defense for service members and their families. Each branch — the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), the Navy Exchange, and the Marine Corps Exchange — operates its own stores online, but Shop My Exchange unifies them under one account. This means you can add items from different branches to a single cart and check out once.
Since 2012, Shop My Exchange has provided this unified access, reducing the need for multiple accounts. Shop My Exchange also offers price comparisons across branches, so you can see where an item is cheapest. For example, a 65-inch television might be $10 cheaper at the Navy Exchange than at AAFES, and Shop My Exchange shows both prices.
